History

This 1990 1.6L Miata was purchased with a clean title and no accidents. It has never been wrecked, and received the attention, detail & maintenance typical from motorsport enthusiasts. VIN JM1NA3519L0126822

In 2009 the car received a Rebello Pro-Built 2000 motor with a custom CAM grind for AutoX.  This 50K mile motor was built for turn key reliability with engine internals suitable for 8200 RPM redline.  The motor was tuned for peak power 6800 and rev limited at 7800 RPM for longevity.  The engine conversion was professionally installed by Rick, foounder of PR Motorsports.  The transmission was rebuilt by Mr. Mazda who also added our ACT heavy duty clutch, light weight flywheel, 1.8 pumpkin, half shafts and retrofitted with a clutch type OS Giken LSD

2012 we purchased a trailer and the DP build was carefully planned. With attention to  SCCA DP rules we leveraged development from the top known DP & CSP national champions and road race professionals. Custom Penske shocks were provided by Ankeny Racing Enterprise.  The car is set up with 700 front springs and 400 rear, 1.125" hollow front sway and is currently on 14x10 UL wheels with Avon tires.  It is tuned to use E85 which includes lines, fittings, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel rail and injector O-rings.  A new front splitter was added in 2015.  It weighs 1924 wet.  The car is currently 45 pounds under weight as we were in the process of redistribution of ballast.
